University Medical Center

The University Medical Center is located at Northeastern part of the Main Administrative Block. It is bounded in the East by Boni Hall, Northeast by the Shuware Secondary School Hostel, East by the University Cafeteria in the South by Educational Lecture Hall.

It is organised into the following Units:-
1. Medical Unit with only one Medical Officer
2. Nursing Unit with only three Nurses
3. Pharmacy Unit non on ground
4. Environmental Unit with only one on ground
5. Medical record non on ground

The medical Centre has fifteen-bed capacity but so far only five bed spaces have been provided.

It is made up of the following Staff:-
1. Dr. Danguma G. Patrick - Medical Officer
2. Mrs. Ladi Mohammed - Staff Nurse
3. Mrs. Abidatu Abubakar - Staff Nurse
4. Mrs. Na'omi Ibrahim - Staff Nurse
5. Miss Serah Naftali - Clerical Assistant
6. Mr. Boslam Galaya - Ambulance Driver
7. Mal. Aminu Bello - Environmental Officer

However there are plans to increase the number staff.

There is mini theatre for minor cases and we also run child welfare programme

Dr. Danguma Patrick is the seventh born of the family of ten. He was born on the 3rd September 1967 (Sunday) at Dumna District of the Guyuk Local Govt. Area of Adamawa State.
He attended Dumna Zerbu Primary School from 1976-1982, he proceeded to Government Science Secondary School Ganye and completed in 1986. He went to Katsina Polytechnic for remedial programme and attempted WASC/GCE in 1988.
He proceeded to University of Jos Nigeria in 1990 to study medicine. He graduated with MBBS in 1999, He did his housemanship in Federal Medical Center Yola from 1999-2000.
He started work in September 2000 in General Hospital Mubi to March 2002, then P.M.O I/C Cottage Hospital Hong from March 2002 to January 2003 and now Medical Director of Adamawa State University Mubi from February 2003 to date.
