The Adamawa State
University (ADSU) presently has three (3) faculties namely;
1. Faculty of
Agriculture
2. Faculty of Science
3. Faculty of Social and Management Sciences
There is also
a School of Foundation and Remedial Studies. About 22 courses are offered
presently, which are spread across the 3 faculties. In the School of Foundation
and Remedial studies, a remedial programme is offered as well as Extra-mural
classes.
At full development,
which is envisaged within the next decade, the University shall have nine
(9) Faculties, a College of Medicine, and a School of Foundation and Remedial
Studies and Three Research Centres. Although ADSU was conceived as a conventional
University, emphasis shall be on applied sciences and professional courses.
In order to maximise available resources, and ensure standards in the training
of practical-oriented graduates, the University's development to full capacity
has been phased
(A) Pioneer

i. Faculty of Law
ii. Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
