provide additional places for the increasing number of students seeking admission,
which currently is not being adequately met by Federal Universities located
in the country's North Eastern geopolitical zone. However, the state is endowed

possessing requisite skills and orientation, but shall itself be fully engaged
in extension delivery and service to the community. The University shall promote
true liberal scholarship and pursue national and international collaboration
and linkages with other institutions for all its programmes. The assistance
of philanthropists, non-governmental agencies, National, International, and
multi-lateral organizations etc. shall be courted and jealously guarded.
Mission, Vision
and Objectives of the University.
The Mission of the University is the production of graduates of the highest
standards in all fields of study. The graduates shall be trained and oriented
to utilize modern technological and management tools for societal development.

in the main, on qualitative and functional education within the context of
building a harmonious and prosperous State.

nurture potential talents for the exploitation of the bountiful resources
of Adamawa State.

of the highest standards, conscious of the need to nurture linkages and collaborations.
Partnership with agencies and bodies within and outside the country is identified
